July

What have you been up to, students? Do you have any Fourth of July plans, or if you're IMG_2763 just reading this what did you do? We went To the Tall Ships Festival Parade today and watched all the great ships come sailing into Tacoma from Quartermaster's Harbor. I hope you're having fun!

Sincerely, Mr. Wolfe

Busy Week in the Wolfe Pack

Oscar Garret This week in the Wolfe pack its beenn pretty crazy. One of the reasons was because we got to bring stuff from our house that was appropriate and we got to sell it for as much Wolfe bucks we called it store day. We also had to study our sea life animals when we go to Titlow Beach. Which makes me think about all the field trips and activities like field day?  This week we also did tie-dye for field day activities.  We turned in our free choice book reports it was fun sum people did great. And we get to do R.I.F. day one more time.

May Update from Kasana & Emilio

Emilio Kasana             We started book clubs with the books: Mouse and the Motorcycle, Bunnicula, Stuart Little, Because of Winn-Dixie, and Charlotte’s Web. Mr. Wolfe started a job called  “Tech Assistants.” They shut down the computers in the computer lab. We have started a new chapter in math, which is long division. Our latest writing assignment is free verse poetry. This week was the talent show. From our class Holli, Abby, Kaylin, Micala, and two other girls from Mr.Stocks’s class Karissa and Paige were in the talent show dancing to the son “All for One” from High School Musical 2. At the end five teachers including Mr. Wolfe did an interesting dance. On Tuesday we did our “Where in Washington” video-conference. We got five out of seven towns right. Only one town got ours right.

Tea and Holli’s Blog

The Iditarod has ended. Our class has mushing partners. Some mushers are still in the race. Img_1794 Trinity’s mushing partner, Lance Macky won because he pretended to put is dogs to sleep, and when he saw Jeff King go to sleep, he hitched up his dogs and took off!! Eddie’s partner, Jeff King got in second place. The winner got $69,000 and a TRUCK!!! Mrs. Jonson came back from the Iditarod with autographed wolfs our class made, and if you didn’t get an autograph, you got a signed postcard from another musher.

Our March book report is adventure, and we have to do an advertisement poster. We NEED to have our summery of the front of our posters.

Day light savings has started so make sure you have set your clock forward. We lose an hour of sleep, but get to enjoy one more hour of the light!

Easter is coming! It is in only 6 days away! Time to buy some candy! We prefer candy called Easter Eggs. They have chocolate in the middle, with a sweet candy shell.

March Conferences are starting Mach 19-21. At the student lead conferences, the students need to be there!

March Update!

Img_1733 We have turned in our February read and lead. Almost our whole class turned it in. about six people did not turn theirs in. The Iditarod started Saturday March 1st 2008. Lance Mackey won in first place and Jeff King came in second. The Iditarod is when there is a dog race from Anchorage Alaska into Nome Alaska. This is Lance Mackey’s second time winning the iditarod race. Jeff King came in second place being tricked by Lance Mackey. In the lab we are working on a summary sleuth about how the Iditarod started. You should go to the Iditarod you will see Nome. On Dr. Suess’s birthday we got to wear hats to school. Paul had a birthday and brought cookies, they were good!
